Apple “Preview”

The annotations made in Skim can’t be seen in Preview unless you specifically export them. And then they are not editable. Just looking at the above comments, it looks like Acrobat, Preview, and iAnnotate annotations play nice with each other.

Xbox Smartglass 10 minute hands-on demo!

http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/WmPowerUser/~3/E0FKWcJO6lY/

“Betanews have posted to 9.5 minute hands-on video of the SmartGlass application running on Windows Phone ( a Nokia Lumia 900) and also a Windows tablet.

The video demoes both game play and music control, and it is interesting that it offers a different experience on tablet and the phone while still being synchronized between 3 devices.

The video also demoes “Pick up and play”, a feature that will synchronize game levels and positions between the phone and other Xbox Live devices, such as tablets and PCs. This is in fact a feature which I have not heard much about before, but which has of course been promised for a long time.

I suspect SmartGlass will actually increase the use of the Xbox 360. Now all I need is an automatic HDMI switcher
